The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1431M09F16-832 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to space and secure printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures, control panels, and electrical assemblies. Machined from 18-8 and Grade 303 stainless steel with an anodized finish, it provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments. The standoff measures 0.75 inches overall length with a 0.25-inch hex width across flats. The male end threads at 8-32 and extends 0.375 inches; the female end accepts an 8-32 fastener to a thread depth of 0.4375 inches. Electricians, HVAC control board technicians, and electronics assembly professionals install this type of hardware when stacking or mounting PCBs in metal enclosures.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and light commercial control panel assemblies, HVAC system boards, electrical enclosures, and industrial electronics where stainless steel hardware and a uniform hex body are required. The hex profile allows wrench or nut-driver installation without standoff rotation. It conforms to the QQ-S-763 federal standard for stainless steel hardware, making it appropriate for applications where material certification is required. The compact 0.375-inch body length makes it a good fit for tight PCB stack spacing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit boards and control panels using 8-32 threaded mounting hardware in inch-measurement assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified electronics technicians. Always de-energize and lock out the control panel or enclosure before installing or replacing circuit board standoffs. A nut driver or open-end wrench sized for 0.25-inch hex flats is appropriate for installation. Avoid overtightening, as stainless steel threads can gall — applying a compatible anti-seize compound is a common field practice.
