The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1393M09F16256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and a mounting surface. Machined from 303 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this standoff meets QQ-S-763 fastener standards. It features a 2-56 thread size, a 3-inch overall body length, and a hex profile measuring 3/16 inches across the flats. The 5/32-inch thread length on the male end and 3/16-inch thread depth on the female end provide secure engagement. Electronics assemblers and field technicians install these in control panels, HVAC control boards, and industrial enclosures where corrosion resistance and dimensional accuracy are required.
This standoff is suited for applications requiring inch-system hardware with a 2-56 thread pattern. Its 303 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where mild corrosion resistance is needed, such as HVAC electrical enclosures, commercial control panels, and light industrial equipment. The hex body shape allows installation and removal with standard nut drivers or hex wrenches without marring the surface. It is sold individually and is intended for use where precise board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing of 3 inches is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fastener for circuit board assemblies requiring a 2-56 inch-system male-female hex standoff with a 3-inch body length.
Installation is performed by electronics assemblers or licensed electricians working on control board assemblies. Power down and de-energize the circuit board assembly completely before installing or removing standoffs. Use a properly sized nut driver or hex wrench matched to the 3/16-inch across-flats dimension to avoid rounding the hex. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when installing standoffs inside electrical enclosures or control panels.
