The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1345M09F16256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed for securing printed circuit boards at a fixed distance from a mounting surface or stacking boards in multi-level assemblies. Machined from grade 303 stainless steel with a bright uncoated finish, this standoff features a 2-56 thread size, an overall length of 1.5 inches, and a hex body width across flats of 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches). The male end threads into the mounting surface or a mating standoff while the female end accepts a screw from the board above. Manufactured to fastener standard QQ-S-763. Installed by electronics assembly technicians and field service professionals working on control boards in HVAC, industrial, and electrical enclosure applications.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial control board assemblies, panel enclosures, and electronic equipment mounting applications where stainless steel corrosion resistance and precise board spacing are required. The 1.5-inch overall body length provides clearance for component height or wire routing beneath a mounted circuit board. The 3/16-inch thread depth on the female end and a 5/32-inch thread length on the male end conform to standard 2-56 fastener geometry, making it compatible with common PCB mounting hardware.
Designed as an OEM-style mounting fastener for circuit boards requiring 2-56 threaded male-female hex standoffs with a 1.5-inch overall length and 3/16-inch hex body width across flats.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or qualified field service personnel. Always de-energize and discharge any equipment before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. Use a properly sized nut driver or open-end wrench on the hex body to seat the standoff without over-stressing the threaded mount. Avoid cross-threading by hand-starting the male end before applying tool torque.
