The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1329M19F16440 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to separate and support PCBs within electronic enclosures and control assemblies. Made from nylon (material grade 101) and left uncoated, this standoff accepts 4-40 threaded fasteners on both ends. The hex body measures 3/16 inch across flats, with an overall body length of 1 inch and a thread depth of 1/4 inch. It meets MIL-P-17091B standards and carries a tensile strength of 16,500 psi. The length tolerance is held to plus or minus 0.005 inch, making it suitable for precise PCB stacking applications.
This standoff is used in residential and commercial control boards, HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, and other electronics assemblies where non-conductive spacing hardware is required. The nylon construction makes it appropriate for applications where electrical isolation between board layers is needed. Installers typically use this part when mounting circuit boards in furnace control panels, variable-frequency drives, relay panels, or similar equipment requiring repeatable board-to-board or board-to-chassis separation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install nylon hex standoff for 4-40 threaded circuit board mounting applications in HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, and general electronics assemblies requiring non-conductive hardware.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians, HVAC controls technicians, or electricians during control board replacement or panel assembly work. De-energize and lock out all power to the control panel before removing or installing circuit boards. Use a hex driver or nut driver sized for 3/16 inch across flats to avoid stripping the nylon hex body — do not use pliers directly on the hex. Do not overtighten mating screws into the 4-40 female end, as nylon threads can be damaged by excessive torque.
