The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1329M12F21440 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between PCBs, panels, and enclosure surfaces. Machined from steel with a zinc-plated finish, it meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-S-633 standards for corrosion protection. The standoff measures 1 inch in overall body length with a 3/16-inch width across flats and uses a 4-40 thread on both the male and female ends. Thread depth on the female end is 1/4 inch. Electricians, electronics technicians, and panel builders install these when stacking or mounting circuit boards at a fixed, repeatable distance inside control enclosures and electrical panels.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial control panel assemblies, industrial enclosures, and HVAC or electrical equipment where circuit boards require secure, vibration-resistant mounting at a consistent standoff height. The hex body profile allows wrench engagement for controlled torque-down in tight board layouts. It is an inch-system fastener and is ordered in multiples of 10 per the manufacturer minimum order quantity.
Designed as a standard 4-40 inch-series male-female hex standoff for circuit board and panel mounting applications where a 1-inch spacing height is required.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians, electricians, or panel builders using an appropriately sized hex driver or open-end wrench sized for 3/16-inch flats. De-energize all boards and panels before installing or removing standoffs. Avoid over-torquing, as excessive force can strip the 4-40 thread or crack the PCB substrate. Follow applicable NEC requirements when installing boards inside energized enclosures.
