The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1321M03F21440 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to space and mount printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures and control panels. The standoff features a 4-40 unified thread with a male end on one side and a female threaded bore on the other, allowing boards to be stacked or secured at a fixed offset. The body is brass with a zinc plating finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards. Overall body length is 0.75 inches, width across flats is 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches), and thread depth is 0.25 inches (1/4 inches). This fastener is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
This standoff is used in residential and commercial control panel assemblies, HVAC circuit board mounting, and general electronics manufacturing or field service work. Electricians and electronics technicians install these when replacing or securing control boards inside equipment enclosures. The hex body geometry allows standard nut drivers or hex keys to be used during installation, making them suitable for tight PCB layouts. Applications include any install requiring a repeatable, rigid standoff between a PCB and a chassis or between stacked boards using 4-40 threaded hardware.
Designed as a standard 4-40 male-female hex standoff for use with printed circuit boards and control panel assemblies that use inch-series 4-40 threaded mounting hardware.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or electronics technicians during control board replacement or panel assembly. De-energize all circuits and follow applicable NEC lockout-tagout procedures before working inside any enclosure. Use a properly sized nut driver matched to the 3/16-inch hex body to avoid deforming the standoff. Do not over-torque; brass fasteners are subject to thread damage if excessive force is applied.
