The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1309M06F16256 is an aluminum male-female hex circuit board standoff designed for PCB mounting applications in electronics assemblies. It features a 2-56 thread on both the male and female ends, a 3/8-inch overall body length, and a hex body shape measuring 3/16 inch across the flats. The standoff is machined from T3-grade aluminum and left with a bright, uncoated finish per QQ-A-225A Comp 2 standards. Electronics assemblers and board-level technicians use these to stack or elevate circuit boards within enclosures, control panels, and electronic equipment.
This standoff is suited for use in light-duty PCB stacking configurations where a non-ferrous, lightweight fastener is required. It is commonly installed during circuit board assembly in HVAC control enclosures, electrical panel sub-assemblies, and general-purpose electronic equipment. The male post threads into a tapped hole or female standoff on one end, while the female threaded bore accepts a screw or additional standoff on the other end, allowing multi-board stacking or secure single-board mounting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit boards using 2-56 inch-series thread fasteners.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians or electricians during PCB assembly or panel wiring. De-energize all circuits and discharge any capacitors before working inside control enclosures. Use a nut driver or open-end wrench sized to 3/16 inch across flats when tightening to avoid rounding the hex body. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when installing standoffs inside listed electrical enclosures.
