The ELECTRI-FLEX 80124 is a Type EF gray liquidtight flexible steel conduit supplied on a 500-foot reel in 3/4-inch trade size. Designed as a competitive-grade alternative to Type LT conduit, it provides reliable mechanical protection and moisture resistance for enclosed conductors in installations that involve continuous or intermittent motion, vibration, and repeated bending. The steel construction gives the raceway its structural integrity while the liquidtight jacket seals against water intrusion. Electricians reach for this conduit where flexible connections are required at motors, compressors, HVAC equipment, and similar vibrating loads.
Type EF conduit is suited for a wide range of commercial and industrial wiring applications where rigid conduit is impractical due to movement or tight routing. Common install scenarios include final connections to rooftop HVAC units, refrigeration compressors, pump motors, and other equipment subject to vibration. The 500-foot reel length makes it practical for larger jobs or stocking purposes. The 3/4-inch trade size accommodates typical branch-circuit conductor bundles used in commercial mechanical and electrical work.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-inch liquidtight conduit fittings. Intended as a competitive-grade replacement for Type LT flexible liquidtight conduit in applications requiring moisture and mechanical protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the applicable edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local amendments. De-energize all circuits before making connections and verify lockout/tagout procedures are followed at the equipment served. Use only fittings rated for liquidtight flexible metal conduit to maintain the integrity of the moisture seal at terminations. This product is non-UL listed; verify that local inspection authority accepts non-UL listed raceway before installation.
