The ELECTRI-FLEX 80122 is a liquidtight flexible metallic conduit (LFMC) designed for wiring applications that require both flexibility and protection against moisture, oils, and contaminants. Built with a steel core and a gray PVC outer jacket, it delivers mechanical strength alongside a durable liquid-tight seal. The 3/4-inch trade size and 100-foot length make it a practical choice for runs requiring frequent bending or routing around obstacles. Licensed electricians install this conduit in commercial and industrial environments where rigid conduit is impractical and environmental exposure demands a sealed raceway solution.
This conduit is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. It is commonly used to connect motors, HVAC equipment, compressors, and other machinery where vibration, movement, or tight spaces call for a flexible raceway. The PVC jacket provides resistance to moisture and common shop fluids, making it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor installations where environmental protection is a priority. It is typically terminated with liquidtight fittings at each end to maintain a sealed system.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock flexible conduit for use with 3/4-inch liquidtight fittings and connectors in metallic conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) Article 350, which governs liquidtight flexible metal conduit. De-energize all circuits before making conduit connections. Use listed liquidtight conduit fittings rated for the trade size and application to maintain the integrity of the liquidtight seal. Because this conduit has no integrated ground, a separate equipment grounding conductor must be pulled through the conduit where required by code.
