The ELECTRI-FLEX 61201 is a non-UL liquidtight flexible steel conduit rated for extreme temperature environments ranging from -60 to 150 degrees C. Built on a square-lock steel core with a black thermoplastic rubber jacket, this 1/2 inch trade size conduit is engineered to resist oil, moisture, and temperature-induced degradation. The conduit ships in a 100-foot carton and weighs 27 pounds per 100 feet. It is designed for use where standard flexible conduit would fail under thermal stress or exposure to wet and oily conditions. Licensed electricians install this conduit as part of equipment wiring in demanding service environments.
The 61201 is suited for boilers, furnaces, heavy outdoor equipment, ovens, refrigeration units, and wet or oily locations. The thermoplastic rubber jacket provides durable protection in applications where conduit runs are exposed to fluids, grease, or wide temperature swings. Its 2-inch minimum bending radius allows routing through tight equipment cabinets and mechanical rooms. This conduit is a practical solution for industrial and commercial wiring runs where both flexibility and environmental resistance are required.
Designed as a liquidtight flexible steel conduit for use in boiler, furnace, heavy outdoor equipment, oven, refrigeration, and wet or oily location wiring applications requiring an extreme temperature-rated conduit.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquidtight flexible metal conduit. De-energize all circuits before beginning conduit installation or termination work. Use fittings rated for liquidtight flexible conduit to maintain the integrity of the liquidtight seal at termination points. Avoid bending the conduit tighter than the 2-inch minimum bending radius to prevent jacket damage or core deformation.
