The EKLIND 10507 is a 7-piece short-arm L-shape hex key set spanning sizes 1.5 mm through 6 mm. Each key is formed from alloy steel and heat-treated to deliver high torque capacity without rounding out the key tip or the fastener socket. The short-arm geometry makes this set well suited to confined spaces where a full-length arm would not clear surrounding components. Trades workers and maintenance technicians who regularly drive socket-head cap screws and set screws reach for this type of set as a bench staple.
This set is used across a wide range of service and installation work including HVAC equipment assembly, electrical panel and component mounting, plumbing fixture hardware, and general mechanical maintenance. The compact short-arm design is particularly useful when working inside equipment cabinets, fan housings, or any assembly where swing clearance is limited. The 7 keys cover the most common metric hex sizes encountered in commercial and residential trade work.
Designed for use with metric socket-head cap screws, set screws, and hex-socket fasteners in the 1.5 mm to 6 mm range commonly found in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical equipment.
No dedicated trade license is required to use hand tools, but service technicians should always de-energize equipment and follow applicable NFPA 70E or OSHA lockout-tagout procedures before accessing internal fasteners on powered equipment. Use the short arm for high-torque driving and the long arm for fast turning in low-resistance applications. Do not extend the key with a cheater bar, as this can exceed the designed torque limits of both the tool and the fastener.
