The EEMAX spex4277t is a point-of-use electric tankless water heater from the LavAdvantage series, designed to deliver on-demand hot water at hand-washing fixtures without the standby losses associated with tank-style units. Rated at 4100 watts and 277 volts AC on a single-phase circuit, it draws 14.8 amps and achieves an energy factor of 0.99, making it one of the most efficient options in its class for low-flow lavatory applications. The nickel chrome heating element and compact wall-mount housing suit commercial restroom installations where space and efficiency targets both matter. A licensed plumber or qualified technician performs the installation.
The spex4277t is suited for commercial restroom and light-duty residential lavatory applications where a dedicated point-of-use heater replaces a long hot-water run from a central water heater. Its 0.35 gpm recovery rate at an 80 degrees F temperature rise matches typical hand-washing flow rates, reducing water waste at the fixture. The unit operates on water supply pressures between 30 and 150 psi and handles inlet-to-outlet temperatures from 70 to 140 degrees F, covering a wide range of supply conditions found in commercial buildings.
Designed as an OEM-style point-of-use electric tankless water heater for commercial and residential lavatory applications requiring a 277 VAC single-phase power supply and 3/8 inch compression water connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber and, where required, a licensed electrician, in accordance with local plumbing codes and the National Electrical Code. Shut off the water supply and de-energize the circuit at the panel before beginning any work. The 14 AWG wire size specified for this unit must match the branch circuit wiring; verify the circuit breaker rating against local code requirements. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits during pressure testing or operation.
