The ECLIPSE E773NEO is a neodymium rare earth pot magnet designed for high-strength holding applications in a compact form factor. Built around a neodymium core housed in a zinc-finished steel cup, this pot magnet concentrates flux through one face to deliver a maximum pull force of 13.2 kilograms (approximately 29 pounds) against a flat steel surface. The M3 female threaded boss allows direct attachment to fixtures, jigs, or assemblies without adhesive. At 0.5156 inches in diameter and 0.177 inches overall thickness, it is suited for installations where space is limited. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and industrial tradespeople use this type of magnet for cable management, panel organization, and equipment mounting.
This magnet is appropriate for light-duty to medium-duty fastening tasks in both residential and light commercial environments. Common applications include securing access panels, routing wire harnesses, holding sensors in position during setup, or anchoring lightweight fixtures. The M3 threaded insert makes it compatible with standard metric hardware, simplifying integration into fabricated brackets or OEM assemblies. The 80 degrees C maximum operating temperature rating makes it suitable for use in warm environments such as equipment enclosures or HVAC cabinets, provided temperatures remain within this limit.
Designed as a general-purpose neodymium pot magnet compatible with standard M3 metric threaded hardware and suitable for use on flat ferrous steel surfaces.
Installation requires a mating M3 metric fastener; ensure the threaded boss is not overtightened, as the steel cup can crack under excessive torque. Always verify the mounting surface is clean, flat, and ferrous steel to achieve rated pull force. Neodymium magnets lose holding strength at elevated temperatures, so confirm the installation environment does not exceed 80 degrees C during operation. Keep away from electronic components, magnetic media, and pacemakers during handling.
