The ECLIPSE 812 is a single-hole Alnico power magnet designed for holding, clamping, and fixturing applications in industrial and trade environments. Built from Grade 5 Alnico material, it delivers an average pull force of 20 pounds and withstands a maximum operating temperature of 550 degrees C, making it suitable for high-heat environments where ceramic or rare-earth magnets may not perform reliably. The magnet measures 0.9844 inches wide, 0.9844 inches high, and 1.5781 inches deep, with a 10mm pole width. A single mounting hole with a 0.1969 inch diameter allows for straightforward mechanical attachment. This part is installed by maintenance technicians, machinists, and equipment fabricators working with magnetic assemblies.
The ECLIPSE 812 Alnico power magnet is used in a wide range of industrial and mechanical applications including sensor mounting, holding fixtures, reed switch actuation, and magnetic circuit assemblies. Its high-temperature tolerance makes it appropriate for use near motors, ovens, or other heat-generating equipment. The compact form factor and single mounting hole allow it to be integrated into custom assemblies or used as a drop-in replacement in existing magnet mounts. It is commonly specified in light manufacturing, HVAC control assemblies, and instrumentation setups where reliable magnetic hold is required in elevated-temperature zones.
Designed as an OEM-style Alnico power magnet for industrial holding and fixturing applications requiring a single-hole mount configuration and high-temperature magnetic performance.
Installation is typically performed by maintenance technicians or mechanical assemblers. De-energize and lock out any associated electrical equipment before handling magnetic components near sensitive electronics or ferrous tooling. Secure the magnet through the mounting hole using an appropriate fastener sized for the 0.1969 inch hole diameter. Avoid exposing Alnico magnets to strong opposing magnetic fields, as Alnico material can be partially demagnetized by reverse flux more readily than other magnet grades.
