The EATON e30df is a square pushbutton and indicating light combination operator designed for industrial and commercial control panel applications. The unit ships without a lens and features a single momentary pushbutton paired with one incandescent indicating light. Rated for full-voltage lamp operation at 120VAC/DC, it accepts an incandescent lamp (type 120PSB) and is built to NEMA 3R and 4 standards, providing resistance to rain, sleet, and windblown dust. At 30.5 mm, it fits standard 30 mm panel cutouts common across control enclosures in manufacturing, process, and facility-maintenance environments. Licensed electricians and panel builders are the primary installers.
This operator is suited for use in control stations, operator interface panels, and machine control enclosures where both a pushbutton input and a pilot light indicator are required in a single 30 mm mounting footprint. The NEMA 3R and 4 ratings make it appropriate for outdoor or wash-down-adjacent installations where incidental water exposure is a concern. The momentary button style supports applications such as start/stop circuits and jog controls. It belongs to the E30 manufacturer series, which offers a range of 30 mm control components with interchangeable operator heads.
Designed as an OEM-style combination operator for standard 30 mm control panel cutouts within the EATON E30 series platform.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the control panel before mounting the operator or making wiring connections. Ensure the panel enclosure rating is maintained when cutting the 30 mm mounting hole, and verify the enclosure gasket and hardware are properly seated to preserve NEMA 3R and 4 ingress protection. Do not energize the lamp circuit without confirming the correct lamp type is installed.
