The EATON 3750X8 is a brass street tee fitting designed for industrial pipe systems requiring a compact, inline branch connection. It combines a 1/2-inch male NPT (MNPTF) run end with a 1/2-inch female NPT (FNPTF) branch, allowing a tee to be threaded directly into a female port without a separate nipple. Rated to 1,200 psi maximum working pressure and suitable for temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas distribution applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working on compressed air, water, oil, or gas lines will find this a standard service fitting.
This street tee is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, compressed air distribution, and light industrial fluid systems where a branch takeoff is needed at an existing threaded connection. The MNPTF x FNPTF configuration eliminates the need for an additional close nipple, saving space in tight manifold or header installations. It is sold individually and is appropriate wherever a 1/2-inch NPT branch point is required in a threaded pipe assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for 1/2-inch NPT threaded pipe assemblies in industrial, commercial, and residential plumbing and fluid distribution systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters following applicable IPC and IFGC codes for the specific fluid or gas service. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing fittings or threading in the new street tee. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly; do not overtighten, as brass fittings can be damaged by excessive torque. Verify the fitting is rated for the specific fluid, pressure, and temperature conditions of the installation before putting the system back into service.
