The EATON 360 is a steel knockout reducing washer designed to fill the gap between a smaller conduit fitting and a larger knockout opening in an electrical enclosure. It seats flush against the box wall, closing the unused portion of the knockout and maintaining the integrity of the enclosure. Electricians use this washer when a conduit entry point is larger than the fitting being installed, which is a common condition in steel boxes used with IMC or rigid metal conduit systems. The 360 measures 0.5 inches inside diameter and 2.5 inches outside diameter.
This reducing washer is suited for commercial and residential electrical installations where steel enclosures are used with intermediate metal conduit or rigid metal conduit. It is a standard solution for knockout-to-fitting size mismatches encountered during panel, junction box, and device box rough-in work. Licensed electricians install this washer as part of a compliant conduit termination assembly.
Designed for use with steel boxes, IMC, and rigid conduit systems where a 0.5 inch fitting must be installed in a larger knockout opening.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the enclosure before beginning any work. Seat the reducing washer flat against the interior or exterior of the box wall around the knockout, then install the locknut and fitting per standard conduit termination practice. Do not force or distort the washer, as a flat, secure seating is required to close the knockout gap properly.
