The EATON 3300X4X2 is a straight brass pipe coupling with female-to-female FNPTF threads in a reducing 1/4 inch by 1/8 inch configuration. It connects two threaded pipe segments in a straight line, reducing from a 1/4 inch female port to a 1/8 inch female port without changing flow direction. Rated to 1,200 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this coupling is suited for demanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic system technicians are the primary installers.
This coupling is used in industrial and commercial piping systems where a straight, reducing female-to-female threaded connection is required. Typical applications include hydraulic lines, compressed air systems, fuel lines, and water service lines where a 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch FNPTF reduction is needed. Its brass construction provides corrosion resistance appropriate for a range of fluid media. The compact overall length of 1 inch and 3/4 inch hex size make it practical in tight installations with limited wrench clearance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for industrial and commercial piping systems requiring a straight, reducing 1/4 inch by 1/8 inch FNPTF threaded brass coupling.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC codes. Depressurize and isolate the affected line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape appropriate for the fluid media to FNPTF threads; do not overtighten, as brass fittings can crack under excessive torque. Inspect threads for damage before installation and confirm pressure ratings are compatible with the system before returning to service.
