The EASYFLEX efsv-st-12ft38c is a straight stop valve designed to isolate water supply lines in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. It features a brass body with chrome-plated finish, NBR softgoods, and brass, copper, and PTFE trim for reliable sealing. The valve connects via FNPT on the inlet side and compression on the outlet, accommodating a nominal size of 1/2 x 3/8 inches. Rated to 125 psi and 180 degrees F, it suits typical domestic water supply conditions. A zinc handle with handle actuator allows quick manual shutoff. Licensed plumbers install this valve as a code-required shutoff at fixture supply connections.
This straight stop valve is used at under-sink supply connections for faucets, toilets, ice makers, and similar fixtures. The FNPT x compression configuration makes it compatible with standard copper and braided supply line installations. It is suited to residential bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms where a compact inline shutoff is required at the wall or floor stub-out. The chrome-plated finish blends with exposed supply line installations in finished spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation straight stop valve for residential and light commercial plumbing fixture supply lines using FNPT x compression connections at a nominal 1/2 x 3/8 inch size.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable edition of the International Plumbing Code. Shut off the main water supply and relieve line pressure before removing the existing valve or making connections. Ensure FNPT threads are properly taped with PTFE thread tape before assembly, and do not overtighten compression fittings, which can crack the ferrule or distort the tubing. After installation, restore water pressure gradually and inspect all connections for leaks before returning the fixture to service.
