The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL SDS4350-5000-12-D is an SDS-shank masonry drill bit designed for rotary hammer drilling into concrete, block, brick, and other masonry substrates. It features a delta-style carbide tip geometry that aggressively breaks material while channeling debris out of the hole. The bit measures 1/2 inch in diameter with a 12-5/8 inch overall length, giving trades the reach needed for deep anchor and conduit sleeve applications. At 0.41 pounds, it is light enough for overhead work without adding fatigue during extended drilling runs.
This bit is used in residential and commercial construction and renovation where anchors, inserts, or penetrations must be drilled through poured concrete, CMU block, or brick. Typical applications include setting anchor bolts, drilling conduit sleeves through foundation walls, installing hangers in concrete ceilings, and coring pass-through holes in masonry partitions. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, and general contractors commonly reach for this length when standard short bits cannot achieve required depth.
Designed for use with SDS-chuck rotary hammers. The SDS shank interface is compatible with standard SDS rotary hammer tools across major tool brands.
Installation is performed by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other trades using an SDS rotary hammer. Ensure the hammer is set to the correct mode for the substrate — rotary hammer mode for concrete and block, rotation-only mode for tile or softer masonry where cracking is a concern. Wear ANSI-rated eye protection and a dust respirator rated for silica, as masonry drilling generates respirable crystalline silica dust. Inspect the carbide tip for damage before each use and replace the bit if the tip is chipped or the shank is deformed.
