The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SG-1-L6-D is a pointed tree-profile double-cut carbide rotary burr designed for aggressive material removal and fine finishing in a single tool. The SG-1 geometry features a tapered, pointed nose that allows access to tight contours, grooves, and angled surfaces. The double-cut flute pattern generates less heat and produces a finer finish than single-cut equivalents, making it well-suited for work on ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. The 1/4-inch shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tool chucks. The 6-inch overall length provides extended reach for deep cavities and hard-to-access workpieces.
This burr is used in fabrication shops, welding operations, foundries, and maintenance environments where weld blending, porting, deburring, and surface preparation are routine tasks. The extended 6-inch length makes it especially practical for mold work, pipe interiors, and recessed areas where a standard-length burr cannot reach. Machinists, tool and die makers, pipefitters, and general metal fabricators are the primary installers and users of this type of rotary cutting tool.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use carbide burr for die grinders, air tools, and rotary tools accepting a 1/4-inch collet or chuck.
This burr is installed by machinists and fabricators using standard die grinder or rotary tool collet wrenches. Ensure the tool is fully de-energized and the collet is properly torqued before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before engaging the burr. Do not exceed the RPM rating of the tool or the burr to prevent breakage.
