The E-FLEX 81034 is a liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit designed to protect electrical wiring in wet, damp, and exposed outdoor locations. Built with a PVC core and NM-style construction, it provides reliable moisture resistance without the weight or rigidity of metallic conduit. The conduit is rated for temperatures from -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C, making it suitable for a wide range of installation environments. At a trade size of 1 inch and supplied in a 400-foot length, this coil is well suited for commercial and residential electrical work where longer runs or multiple connections are required. Licensed electricians are the primary installers of this conduit type.
This conduit is used in applications where wiring must be routed through areas exposed to moisture, oils, or mechanical stress. Common installation scenarios include HVAC equipment connections, outdoor junction boxes, industrial machinery wiring, and service entrances. The flexible construction allows routing around obstacles and through tight spaces without the need for rigid conduit fittings at every direction change. The gray PVC exterior is standard for nonmetallic liquidtight conduit and is compatible with standard liquidtight fittings available in matching trade sizes.
Designed for use with standard 1-inch liquidtight nonmetallic conduit fittings. Suitable for wet, damp, and dry location wiring installations in residential and commercial electrical systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before working in any enclosure or panel where this conduit terminates. Use listed liquidtight fittings rated for nonmetallic conduit at the appropriate trade size to ensure a watertight seal at connection points. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of 6.50 inches to prevent conduit damage and maintain conductor protection.
