The DURA PLASTIC PVC80T114 is a Schedule 80 PVC socket tee fitting designed for pressure piping systems that demand heavier wall thickness and greater impact resistance than standard Schedule 40. The tee configuration provides a three-way branch connection in a straight run of pipe, with all three ports accepting solvent-weld socket connections. At 1-1/4 inches on all ports, this fitting is sized for mid-range residential and light commercial piping. Plumbers, pipefitters, and irrigation contractors install this type of fitting where elevated working pressures or corrosive-fluid service rules out thinner-wall PVC.
Schedule 80 PVC fittings are used across a wide range of applications: potable and non-potable water distribution, industrial process piping, chemical handling lines, irrigation mains, and pool and spa plumbing where higher pressure ratings are required. The 1-1/4-inch size is common in branch lines serving multiple fixtures or equipment connections. This fitting is appropriate for above-ground and underground installations where the piping system is engineered for Schedule 80 material throughout.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting compatible with 1-1/4-inch Schedule 80 PVC piping systems using solvent-weld socket connections.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters following applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off system pressure and drain the line fully before cutting into an existing run. Use PVC Schedule 80-rated solvent cement and primer per the cement manufacturer instructions, and allow full cure time before restoring pressure. Do not use this fitting with compression or threaded connections without the appropriate transition adapter.
