The DRILL ROD TOOL STEELS 809056 is an O1 oil-hardening tool steel flat stock bar used in precision toolmaking, die work, and machining applications. Measuring 1/64 inch thick, 3/4 inch wide, and 18 inches long, this flat stock is produced to tight dimensional tolerances: plus or minus 0.001 inch on thickness, plus 0.005 inch on width, and plus 0.250 inch on length. Conforming to AISI Type O1 specification, the material offers good machinability in the annealed state and responds well to oil-quench hardening.
