The DRILL ROD TOOL STEELS 66819 is an O1 oil-hardening tool steel flat bar cut to 3/16 inch thick, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 36 inches long. O1 is an oil-hardening, cold-work tool steel known for good wear resistance, moderate toughness, and machinability in the annealed state. This flat stock ships in its annealed condition, ready for machining, grinding, and layout work before heat treatment. Machinists, toolmakers, and die makers use this material to fabricate punches, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools. Installation Notes
