The DO IT BEST 797793 is a low-VOC, advanced polymer sealant formulated for exterior gutter and flashing applications. It delivers a flexible, watertight, and weatherproof seal rated for up to plus or minus 25 percent total joint movement, making it well suited for dynamic building envelope connections. The formula contains less than 1 percent VOC content, produces low odor, and is paintable once cured. It applies in wet weather and at temperatures as low as 20 degrees F, and cures to touch in 30 minutes with a full cure time of 24 hours. Roofing contractors, siding installers, and general building trades install this product as part of moisture management and weatherproofing scopes.
This sealant is designed for use on aluminum, steel, galvanized and bonderized surfaces, PVC, concrete, wood, and painted surfaces. Typical applications include sealing gutters, downspouts, flashings, ducts, vents, corner and butt joints, corrugated roofing panels, and aluminum siding. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use and performs across a broad service temperature range of -75 degrees F to 220 degrees F. The 10.1-ounce cartridge covers up to 50 linear feet at standard bead width with a maximum gap span of 0.5 inches.
Designed for use on aluminum, steel, galvanized bonderized surfaces, PVC, concrete, wood, and painted building substrates including gutters, downspouts, flashings, corrugated roofing, and aluminum siding.
Surface must be clean, dry, and free of loose debris before application, though the formula tolerates wet conditions during application. Apply using a standard caulk gun; smooth the bead with a wet tool before the 30-minute touch-cure window closes. Do not apply to surfaces that will be submerged. Follow all local building code requirements and manufacturer surface preparation guidance for exterior sealant work.
