The DIXON VALVE COUPLING DV-00316 is a stainless steel hose insert fitting designed to create a secure barbed connection between a 1/4 inch male NPT threaded port and a 3/8 inch inside diameter hose. This hose insert seats firmly inside the hose end, and the external barbs grip the hose interior to resist pullout under pressure and vibration. The MNPT thread end connects directly to a female NPT fitting or port. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in wet, chemical, or outdoor service environments.
