Product Description

The DIVERSITECH vax-3 extended copper tube is a low-cost refrigerant access port designed for field servicing of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The tube accepts a 1/4 in. SAE male flare connection and ships with a quick seal cap and a stainless and brass refrigerant valve core included. Each unit can be brazed or installed in any orientation on the high side or low side of a system, making it adaptable to a wide range of service situations. HVAC technicians use this fitting for refrigerant charging, system purging, quick pressure checks, and leak-down testing without requiring a full Schrader valve assembly.

This access tube is suited for residential and light commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service work. The 3/16 in. outer diameter and 1/8 in. inner diameter profile fits standard copper line sets and is compact enough for tight equipment compartments. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling regulations. Allow the fitting to cool completely before pressurizing the system and verify the valve core and seal cap are fully seated before returning the system to service.
