Product Description

The DIVERSITECH TP-60AMP is a 60-amp fusible disconnect switch designed for residential and light commercial HVAC installations. The unit features fuses housed directly in the pull-out handle, allowing field technicians to replace blown fuses quickly without additional tools. Line, load, and ground terminals are aligned in a straight configuration to simplify wiring runs and reduce installation time. Blown-fuse indicator lights give a fast visual confirmation of fuse status without requiring meter testing. The enclosure is rain tight and sleet resistant, making it suitable for outdoor condenser disconnect applications.

This disconnect is used as the required service disconnect for outdoor condensing units, heat pumps, and similar HVAC equipment where a local disconnect within sight of the unit is required by the NEC. The reversible door design accommodates left-hand or right-hand opening to suit the approach direction on any job. The side-open door swings more than 180 degrees for unobstructed access to terminals and fuses during service calls. A full dead front covers energized parts when the disconnect is in the open position, providing a critical safety barrier for service technicians.
