The DIVERSITECH mp-2e is a composite EVA (Extreme Vibration Attenuation) anti-vibration pad engineered to isolate and dampen vibration and noise generated by refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Constructed with a ribbed and corrugated rubber outer layer and a special composite polymeric foam rubber center, it carries a 50 PSI rating and a 50 durometer hardness. The pad measures 2 inches x 2 inches x 7/8 inches and is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and mechanical contractors install this pad as part of standard equipment mounting to reduce structure-borne vibration transmission.
The mp-2e is suited for a wide range of commercial and residential mechanical applications. Typical uses include mounting under condensers, compressors, cooling towers, presses, pumps, generators, and motors. Its dual indoor and outdoor rating makes it appropriate for rooftop, pad-mounted, and interior mechanical room installations. Both ducted and ductless system configurations are supported. The black and blue color coding aids identification on the job site.
Key Features
Composite polymeric foam rubber center delivers vibration attenuation performance rated to outperform standard cork and rubber AV pads
50 PSI load rating supports a broad range of equipment weights
Ribbed and corrugated texture on rubber outer surface improves grip and load distribution
Rated for both indoor and outdoor installations
Compatible with ducted and ductless system configurations
Compatibility
Designed for use under condensers, compressors, cooling towers, presses, pumps, generators, and motors in both residential and commercial mechanical installations where vibration isolation is required.
Installation Notes
Installed by HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and mechanical contractors during equipment commissioning or replacement. De-energize and lock out the equipment before repositioning or adjusting mounting pads. Place pads on a clean, level surface and ensure the equipment load is distributed evenly across all pads. Do not exceed the rated PSI load capacity of the pad.
