The DIVERSITECH bm102wa is a Wi-Fi enabled smart thermostat designed for mini-split, window, and portable air conditioners and heat pumps. It connects to a home or commercial Wi-Fi network and gives technicians and building operators remote control over connected cooling and heating equipment. The unit features a 4 square inch backlit LCD display and supports both hardwire 24-volt connections and 5V DC wall adapter power. Built-in humidity control and an IAQ fan mode make it suitable for installs where indoor air quality monitoring is a priority. A keypad lockout function protects settings in commercial or multi-tenant environments.
The bm102wa is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a single-stage mini-split, PTAC, window unit, or portable air conditioner requires smart-home integration or remote scheduling. It supports 7-day, 5/1/1-day, and non-programmable scheduling modes, giving installers flexibility to match the schedule format to the building's operational needs. Geofencing, weekly schedules, and temperature and humidity-based automation triggers are available through the companion app, reducing callbacks related to comfort complaints without requiring additional hardware.
