The DIVERSITECH b-129 is an economy-grade copper tube fitting brush designed to clean the inside of copper fittings before soldering or brazing. The brush cleans the inner socket of fittings sized for 7/8 inch OD copper tube, using a 15/16 inch brush diameter to make full contact with the fitting wall. Proper mechanical cleaning of both the tube end and the fitting socket is a foundational step in producing a leak-free solder joint.
