The DIVERSITECH 625-183 is a box of 100 Romex staples designed to secure nonmetallic (NM) sheathed cable during residential and light commercial electrical installations. Each staple measures 0.5 inches in length, making it suited for anchoring standard NM cable to wood framing members, joists, and studs. These staples are a consumable fastener used by licensed electricians and skilled tradespeople when routing branch-circuit wiring throughout walls, ceilings, and floor assemblies. The pack quantity of 100 supports routine wiring jobs without the need for frequent restocking mid-project.
These Romex staples are used in both ducted and ductless system rough-in environments where NM cable must be mechanically supported at regular intervals per NEC requirements. Typical applications include new construction framing, panel feed runs, outlet and switch rough-in, and low-voltage pathway separation in residential builds. The 100-piece box format is practical for individual service calls and small to mid-sized wiring projects alike.
Designed as an OEM-style fastener for use with standard nonmetallic sheathed cable (Romex-type) in residential and light commercial electrical rough-in applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 334 governing nonmetallic-sheathed cable. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing cable near existing wiring. Drive staples by hand or with a hammer, taking care not to crush or deform the cable sheathing. Maintain NEC-required support intervals and avoid over-driving fasteners that could damage cable insulation.
