Digital Watchdog DWC-MF5WI4TWDMP 5MP Ip Vandal Dome

Product Description

The DIGITAL WATCHDOG DWC-MF5WI4TWDMP is a 5-megapixel IP vandal dome camera designed for professional surveillance installations. It delivers high-resolution imaging over a network connection and is built to resist physical tampering, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor environments. The fixed 4mm lens provides a wide field of view for general area coverage, and the integrated infrared illumination extends visibility in low-light or no-light conditions. Security integrators and low-voltage technicians are the typical installers for this class of IP camera.

This camera is suited for commercial and light industrial applications where a durable, fixed-position dome is required. The vandal-resistant housing protects against deliberate impact and tampering, making it appropriate for lobbies, corridors, parking structures, retail spaces, and other public-facing areas. The 5MP resolution supports detailed image capture for identification and forensic review. It is sold as a single unit and is managed through a compatible network video recorder or video management software platform.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician familiar with IP camera systems and structured cabling standards. Follow local building codes and manufacturer mounting guidelines when securing the dome housing to the ceiling or wall surface. Do not overtighten the vandal-resistant housing ring, as this may damage the dome lens or internal components.
