The DICO 7200028 is a nylon end brush designed for surface preparation, finish removal, and grout cleaning on metal, tile, and wood. The brush measures 3/4 inch in diameter and mounts via a 7 mm shank, making it compatible with standard rotary tools and die grinders. It carries a 240 grit aluminum oxide fill material rated at a fine grade, which makes it well-suited for tasks where wire brushes would be too aggressive. The 7200028 is rated to 4,500 RPM and will not rust, giving it a service life advantage in wet or intermittent-use environments. It is sold individually and installs without additional hardware.
This end brush fits typical rotary tool and die grinder setups used in maintenance, light fabrication, tile restoration, and finish prep work. It handles dried grout removal, old finish stripping, and surface conditioning on metal, tile, and wood substrates. The fine 240 grit rating positions it as a finishing or prep step rather than aggressive stock removal. It is color-coded by grade, which helps technicians and tradespeople quickly identify the correct brush when working with multiple grades on a job.
Designed for use with rotary tools and die grinders accepting a 7 mm shank. Suitable for surface preparation applications on metal, tile, and wood substrates.
Install and remove this brush only while the tool is fully powered off and at a complete stop. Confirm the tool chuck or collet accepts a 7 mm shank before mounting. Do not exceed the 4,500 RPM maximum speed rating. Eye protection and appropriate PPE should be worn during operation per standard shop safety practices.
