The DEWALT DWADT1032 is a combination drill tap designed to drill and tap a 10-32 UNC thread in a single operation. Made from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it is built for use in metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and maintenance work where threading speed matters. The tool features a right-hand flute direction and right-hand thread direction with a 0.1935-inch drill diameter and a 2B class of fit, making it suitable for standard fastener thread tolerances. Three flutes provide chip clearance and cutting efficiency in the workpiece material.
This combination drill tap is used in applications where a separate drilling and tapping operation would otherwise require tool changes. It is a common choice for electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general contractors threading sheet metal, steel brackets, junction boxes, and structural members. The 10-32 UNC thread size is widely used in electrical and mechanical assemblies. The 2-1/4-inch overall length fits standard drill chucks and tapping attachments found on benchtop and handheld drill presses.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement combination drill tap for 10-32 UNC threaded hole applications in standard trade and fabrication settings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with threading operations and appropriate cutting speeds for high-speed steel tooling. Secure the workpiece before beginning the drill-tap operation and apply cutting fluid to extend tool life and improve thread quality. Use at recommended RPM ranges for the material being threaded to avoid tool breakage. Do not reverse the tool mid-cut without confirming the workpiece is clear of chips.
