Product Description

Detex ECL-230X W-CYL KA is an alarmed deadbolt panic device designed for secondary commercial exits that combines a single-point deadbolt with a battery-powered alarm system. The unit provides a 1-inch saw-resistant bolt throw, a 100-decibel alarm powered by a 9V battery, and an integrated photoluminescent sign for low-light visibility. It fits standard 36" to 48" doors with thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" and is non-handed.

  • 100-decibel battery-powered alarm (9V battery included); alarm reset requires control key; optional hardwiring with BE-961-1 or BE-961-2
  • Single-point deadbolt with 1" throw, saw-resistant bolt, corrosion-resistant alloy lock body, and accepts 5- to 7-pin rim or interchangeable core cylinders
  • Non-handed design with reversible surface/flush strike; fits 36"–48" doors and 1-3/4"–2-1/4" thickness; meets IBC projection requirement
