Deltana S35R4BB26D Ball Bearing Hinge 3.5in Satin Chrome

Product Description

The DELTANA S35R4BB26D is a solid ball bearing hinge designed for interior and exterior door installations where smooth, long-lasting pivot action is required. Measuring 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches with a 0.25-inch radius corner profile, this hinge is built to handle standard residential and light commercial door applications. The satin chrome finish provides a clean, brushed appearance that resists corrosion and holds up to everyday use. Ball bearing construction reduces friction and wear over the life of the hinge, making it a reliable choice for frequently operated doors. This hinge is sold as a pair and is typically installed by carpenters, finish contractors, or door hardware specialists.

This hinge suits standard interior and exterior door frames in residential and light commercial settings. The radius corner profile fits pre-mortised door blanks and standard hinge prep routers commonly used in new construction and remodel work. The satin chrome finish coordinates with a wide range of door hardware finishes, making it a practical choice for consistent hardware packages across a project. Its 3.5-inch leaf size is the most common dimension specified for passage and entry doors up to 1.75 inches thick.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a finish carpenter or door hardware technician using a chisel or router to prepare the hinge mortise. Ensure the door and frame are fully supported before removing any existing hardware. Follow local building codes for door hardware specifications on fire-rated assemblies. Do not overtighten fasteners, as this can strip the mortise or distort the hinge leaf.
