Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a finish carpenter, door installer, or licensed contractor using a chisel, router, and standard screwdriver or drill. Power down any electric strike or access-control hardware associated with the door before beginning work. Follow local building codes for hinge quantity and placement requirements on fire-rated or exterior door assemblies. Do not over-drive mounting screws, as this can strip the hinge leaf mortise and compromise door alignment.
