Deflecto GHR4W Louvered Vent Hood Bird Guard 4 Inches

Product Description

The DEFLECTO GHR4W is a 4-inch white louvered dryer vent hood with a built-in bird guard, designed for exterior wall terminations on residential dryer and exhaust vent systems. The hood features louvered dampers that open under exhaust airflow and close when the system is idle, helping to block pests and outdoor air from entering the duct. The integrated bird guard eliminates the need for a separate screen or guard accessory. Built to contractor-grade standards with heavy-duty construction, this hood is suited for installation by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general contractors working on residential ventilation projects.

This hood is used at the exterior termination point of 4-inch round dryer vents, bathroom exhaust vents, and similar residential exhaust applications. It is designed for installation through an exterior wall where a finished white appearance is required. The louvered damper design promotes maximum exhaust airflow while the self-cleaning profile allows wind and rain to help clear debris from the louvers during normal weather conditions.
