The DE-STA-CO 810-S is a pneumatic hold down toggle clamp designed to secure workpieces during machining, welding, assembly, and fixturing operations. It delivers an inner holding capacity of 750 pounds (3,400 N) and operates at a maximum air pressure of 145 psi (10 bar). The clamp uses a solid bar style with a 99-degree bar opening, giving operators clear access to the workpiece during loading and unloading. The port size is 1/8 NPT for direct integration with standard pneumatic circuits. A bolt retainer is included. This clamp is installed and maintained by machinists, toolmakers, and fixture technicians in industrial and manufacturing environments.
The 810-S is suited for horizontal mounting on jigs, fixtures, and work-holding platforms in production environments. It handles both inner and outer clamping scenarios, with an outer clamping force of 500 pounds (2,220 N) and an outer load capacity of 407 pounds (1,823 N). The 1.79-inch height under bar provides workpiece clearance consistent with medium-duty fixturing applications. Sensor compatibility includes round and T-slot sensor types, supporting automated cycle detection in CNC and transfer-line setups.
Designed as an OEM-style pneumatic hold down toggle clamp for horizontal-mount fixture and jig applications requiring a 1/8 NPT pneumatic port and round or T-slot sensor compatibility.
Installation is typically performed by fixture technicians or toolmakers familiar with pneumatic circuit design and work-holding systems. Depressurize the pneumatic supply line fully before connecting or disconnecting the clamp. Mounting hardware should be torqued per the fixture design specification; verify mounting hole alignment using the 1.25-inch length and 1.78-inch width mount hole spacing. Consult applicable facility safety and pneumatic system standards before placing the clamp in service.
