The DE-STA-CO 802-U-LC is a pneumatic hold down toggle clamp designed to secure workpieces in fixtures, jigs, and production tooling. Actuated by compressed air through a 1/8 NPT port, it delivers an inner holding capacity of 200 pounds (890 N) and an outer clamping force of 1,045 N. The solid bar opens to 102 degrees, providing clear access to the workpiece during load and unload cycles. With a 1.26-inch cylinder bore and a height under bar of 1.06 inches, this clamp suits low-profile fixturing applications where vertical clearance is limited. A spindle assembly is included. Installation and setup are typically performed by tooling technicians, fixture builders, and manufacturing engineers.
The 802-U-LC is suited for horizontal mounting in production fixtures on manufacturing lines, welding stations, machining centers, and assembly tooling. The 102-degree bar opening allows operators to quickly place and remove parts without obstruction. Its pneumatic actuation makes it appropriate for automated or semi-automated clamping cycles where manual toggle clamping is impractical. The clamp operates across a temperature range of 14 degrees F to 194 degrees F, making it functional in both climate-controlled facilities and moderate industrial environments.
Designed as an OEM-style pneumatic hold down toggle clamp for horizontal-mount fixturing applications. Compatible with sensors using round or T-slot mounting configurations. Air supply connection via standard 1/8 NPT port.
Installation is typically performed by tooling or fixture technicians. Depressurize the air supply and lock out pneumatic energy sources before mounting or servicing this clamp. Secure the clamp to the fixture base through the four mounting holes using fasteners appropriate for the hole size of 0.22 inches. Do not exceed the maximum air pressure rating of 2.20 bar during operation.
