The DE-STA-CO 305-UR is a manual hold-down toggle clamp designed for horizontal clamping applications in fixturing, assembly, and workholding setups. It features a U-bar with a fixed spindle end and a flanged base for secure four-hole mounting. The clamp delivers 150 lb (665 N) of holding capacity and operates through 170 degrees of handle movement with a 90-degree bar opening, giving the operator a positive, repeatable clamp-and-release action. The T-handle is finished in red for quick visual identification. The body and handle are carbon steel with a zinc finish coating for basic corrosion resistance. Overall dimensions are compact, at 2.21 inches long and 1.43 inches tall, making it well-suited for tight fixture layouts.
This clamp is used in light-duty production fixturing, jigs, and workholding stations where a horizontal clamping orientation is required. Typical applications include woodworking jigs, metal fabrication fixtures, and general assembly tooling where consistent, repeatable part location is critical. The flanged base allows direct mounting to fixture plates or benchtop surfaces. The included spindle, two nuts, and two washers allow adjustment of the clamping foot height to match varying workpiece thicknesses.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit clamp for light-duty horizontal hold-down fixturing applications requiring a flanged-base, U-bar toggle clamp with M5x0.8 spindle thread.
Installation is performed by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, or fixture builders using standard hand tools. Mount the flanged base to a fixture plate or work surface through four clearance holes using fasteners appropriate for the load and material. Adjust the spindle height using the included nuts and washers to achieve proper clamping force on the workpiece before locking the spindle in position. Always verify that the clamp is fully toggled to the locked position before engaging a machining or assembly operation.
