The DE-STA-CO 2002-S is a manual hold-down toggle clamp designed for vertical clamping applications in fixture, jig, and workholding setups. It delivers a 600 lb holding capacity and features a solid bar with a closed bar end, giving it a reliable grip on workpieces during machining, welding, or assembly operations. The flanged base with six mounting holes provides a stable, secure mount to any flat work surface. The clamp body and handle are constructed from carbon steel with a zinc finish coating for corrosion resistance. A straight red handle with 66 degrees of handle movement and 75 degrees of bar opening makes operation fast and repeatable. The M6x1.0 spindle allows precise clamping height adjustment.
The 2002-S is suited for light-to-medium duty industrial and manufacturing environments where consistent, repeatable part hold-down is required. Common applications include welding fixtures, machining jigs, assembly stations, and woodworking benches. The compact overall footprint - 4.27 inches long and 4.72 inches tall - fits into tight fixture layouts. A bolt retainer is included. This clamp is typically installed by machinists, tool and die makers, welders, or maintenance technicians setting up production fixtures.
Designed as an OEM-style hold-down toggle clamp for use in standard fixture and jig applications requiring a vertical, flanged-base, solid-bar clamp with an M6x1.0 spindle thread.
Installation is typically performed by machinists or fixture builders using standard hand tools. Mounting holes accept fasteners sized for 0.22-inch diameter hardware; verify fastener grade matches the load requirements of the application. Power down or lock out any associated machinery before repositioning or adjusting the clamp in an active fixture. Do not exceed the rated 600 lb holding capacity, and ensure the base is fully flush and fastened before putting the fixture into service.
