The DAYTON LAMINA S2000-11G is an aluminum bronze die mold shoulder bushing designed for precision tooling and mold alignment applications. It features a 2.0000-inch inside diameter with a press-fit attachment method that allows it to be installed directly into die sets and mold bases without fasteners. The bushing is self-lubricating, which eliminates the need for external grease or oil during normal operation. With a collar outside diameter of 2.68 inches and a body outside diameter of 2.5005 inches, this bushing provides a consistent locating surface. Toolmakers, die makers, and mold maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This bushing is suited for use in stamping dies, injection mold bases, and progressive die assemblies where repeatable alignment between mating components is critical. The shoulder collar seats against the die plate face to control insertion depth and maintain positional accuracy. The self-lubricating aluminum bronze construction supports high-cycle environments where periodic lubrication access is limited. It is appropriate for both new tooling builds and replacement of worn bushings in existing die sets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build component for die sets and mold bases requiring a 2-inch ID shoulder bushing with a press-fit body and aluminum bronze material construction.
Installation is typically performed by a toolmaker or die maintenance technician using an arbor press or hydraulic press to achieve proper press-fit seating. The die set or mold base must be fully de-energized and free of any clamping pressure before bushing removal or installation. Verify bore diameter and surface finish in the receiving plate before pressing to avoid galling the bushing OD. Do not use impact tools or hammers directly on the collar face during installation.
