The DAYTON LAMINA 9-3210-26 is a heavy-duty die spring designed for use in metal stamping, punch press, and progressive die tooling applications. Built from chromium-vanadium steel with a D-shaped wire profile, it delivers consistent, high-load compression performance over repeated cycles. The spring features a 2-inch hole diameter, a 1-inch rod diameter, and a 2.5-inch free length. Maximum deflection load is 1,829 pounds at 0.76 inches of travel. The red color coding indicates the heavy-duty load rating per ISO 10243 classification. Licensed HVAC, tool-and-die, and maintenance technicians working on stamping tooling will recognize this spring as a standard industrial component.
This die spring is suited for installation in metal forming dies, plastic injection molds, and similar tooling where consistent spring-back force and repeatable travel are required. Its D-shaped wire cross-section optimizes space utilization inside die sets. With a maximum operating deflection of 30 percent of free length and a travel-to-solid load of 0.79 inches, it is appropriate for heavy-load die applications in both production tooling and maintenance replacement scenarios. It is packaged and sold individually.
Designed as a standard ISO 10243-compliant heavy-duty die spring replacement for metal stamping dies, progressive tooling, and industrial die sets requiring a 2-inch hole diameter and 1-inch rod diameter with a 2.5-inch free length.
Die springs should be installed by qualified tool-and-die technicians or maintenance personnel familiar with press tooling. Always relieve all press pressure and lock out the press before removing or installing die springs. Inspect the rod and bore surfaces for burrs or scoring that could cause uneven spring seating. Do not exceed the rated maximum operating deflection of 30 percent during service to avoid premature fatigue failure.
