The DAP INC 18899 is a siliconized kitchen and bath sealant formulated for high-performance interior sealing applications. Sold in a 10.1 oz cartridge in bisque color, this sealant is designed to repel water, stains, and dirt, keeping the finished joint looking clean over time. It is 100% waterproof and crack-proof, carries a guaranteed mold and mildew resistance for the life of the sealant, and features low odor for use in occupied spaces. The product can be exposed to water in as little as 4 hours after application, returning the area to service faster than standard latex-based caulks. Plumbers, tile setters, and remodeling contractors are the primary installers.

This sealant is suited for residential interior kitchen and bath applications including sinks, tubs, countertops, and backsplash transitions. It is safe for use on granite and marble surfaces, making it appropriate for natural stone installations where chemical compatibility is a concern. Installation Notes

Surface must be clean, dry, and free of old caulk, soap residue, and loose material before application. Cut the cartridge tip and apply with a standard caulk gun, tooling the bead immediately for a smooth joint. Allow a minimum of 4 hours before water exposure; full cure time may be longer depending on temperature and humidity. This product is for interior use only.
