The DAP INC 18370 is a self-leveling concrete and masonry sealant formulated for horizontal crack repair on exterior and interior surfaces. Using Kwik Dry Technology, the cured sealant can be exposed to water and moisture in as little as 3 hours, eliminating the 24 to 36 hour wait period common with standard latex and silicone caulks. The sealant delivers a permanently watertight and weather-tight seal with superior adhesion and flexibility, resisting cracking and shrinkage after cure. It carries a low VOC content, low odor profile, and accepts paint, making it suitable for finish-grade applications. The 9 oz cartridge format is compatible with standard caulk guns used by masonry and concrete tradespeople.
This sealant is designed for filling and sealing horizontal cracks and joints in residential and light commercial masonry applications. Typical uses include sidewalks, concrete driveways, above-ground foundations, patios, concrete steps, and garage floors. The self-leveling formula flows into cracks without tooling, making it well suited for horizontal surfaces where gravity assists penetration and seating. The application temperature range of -35 degrees F to 140 degrees F supports year-round use in extreme climates.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use sealant for horizontal cracks and joints in concrete and masonry surfaces including sidewalks, driveways, patios, steps, garage floors, and above-ground foundations.
Installation is typically performed by masonry contractors or experienced tradespeople familiar with concrete crack repair. Clean and dry the crack surface before application, removing loose debris, dust, and old sealant. The self-leveling formula is intended for horizontal applications only — do not apply to vertical or overhead surfaces without consulting product-specific guidance. Allow full cure before subjecting the seal to heavy foot or vehicle traffic.
