The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 110-05-020 is a fully threaded stud machined from 304 stainless steel with a 5/8-11 UNC thread form and an overall length of 2 inches. Unlike a standard cap screw or bolt, a fully threaded stud provides continuous thread from end to end, allowing nuts to be run on from either side. This makes it well suited for flange assemblies, manifold connections, and structural fastening applications where a through-bolt is not practical. The uncoated finish preserves the natural corrosion resistance of 304 stainless. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and general maintenance mechanics working with stainless hardware will recognize this as a workhorse fastener for wet or corrosive environments.
This stud is used in commercial and industrial fastening applications where 5/8-11 thread engagement is required on both ends of the fastener. Typical install scenarios include pipe flange bolting, pump and valve mounting, equipment base anchoring, and bracket fabrication in environments where moisture or chemical exposure demands stainless fasteners over carbon steel. The 2-inch overall length fits standard flange thicknesses and shallow through-hole configurations common in mechanical rooms and process piping installations.
Designed as a standard 5/8-11 fully threaded stud for use with any component or assembly requiring a 5/8-11 UNC thread engagement and a 2-inch fastener length.
Installation is typically performed by pipefitters, millwrights, plumbers, or mechanical contractors using standard combination wrenches or hex-nut sockets. Apply thread lubricant or anti-seize compound rated for stainless steel to prevent galling when torquing nuts onto the stud. Verify thread engagement depth meets the requirements of the connected assembly before final torque. Follow applicable ASME or facility maintenance standards for fastener replacement in pressurized systems.
