The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 110-04-040 is a fully threaded stud in 1/2-13 UNC thread with a 4-inch overall length. Machined from 304 stainless steel with an uncoated plain finish, this stud meets ASTM B8 standards for stainless fasteners. Fully threaded studs eliminate the need for a bolt head, allowing double-nut installation or direct threading into tapped holes and flanges. At 0.17 pounds, it is lightweight for its size and suited for applications where corrosion resistance and thread integrity over the full shaft length are required. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades install this type of stud in piping assemblies, equipment mounting, and structural connections.
The 110-04-040 is designed for trade and industrial applications where corrosion resistance is a priority. Typical uses include pipe flange connections, pressure vessel assembly, HVAC equipment mounting, and general mechanical fastening in wet or chemically exposed environments. The 1/2-13 thread pitch is a standard UNC coarse thread widely used across plumbing and HVAC equipment. The 304 stainless steel construction makes this stud appropriate for both indoor and outdoor installations subject to moisture, mild chemical exposure, or elevated humidity.
Designed as a standard 1/2-13 UNC fully threaded stud for use with any compatible 1/2-13 threaded nut, coupling, or tapped component in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial mechanical assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC mechanics depending on the application. Shut down and depressurize any system before removing or replacing studs in flanged or pressurized connections. Use two jam nuts or proper stud-setting tools to drive the stud into tapped holes without damaging threads. Torque to values specified by the equipment manufacturer or applicable code for the joint type and service conditions.
